Question about my Uninterruptable Power Supply

Hello everybody,
I have 2 questions about my new Uninterruptable Power Supply (e-COM750)
1.- After that I finish to use my computer & I turn off it, before
I go to sleep...your UPS can be switched OFF, each night instead
leaving it ON all the time Day & night??

2.- How many watt of electric power the UPS use...because is extremely
warm during the regularly use with my computers/monitor (Both hook up
at the back)...as IT"s NOT wrote in your Specification" page in the
owner/user manual. As the case is very warm...must consume a lot of
energy to get so warm...can be that you DON'T wrote such
"Parameter"...intentional or in purpose?.

Thanks so much for your noble effort with me!

Sincerely,

Adiel.

I've never used one, so I don'yt know if it can be turned off or not, but towards the other question, it's like a battery (or cell), all batteries get warm from the amount of current and voltage they carry. Add to that it's probably an "on-line" UPS. It's actively working, using a form of power conditioning to keep the current nice and steady/clean.

Not necessarily, usually only the higher end ones offer that type of feature (about US $100+), I had to get one like that because of the brownout problems I was having...

As for turning it off, yes there should be a button or switch that turns the unit off, it still should provide surge protection while it's off as well.

I would've thought they'd be well implemented by now.. I remember Offline/online UPS systems was a real debate many years ago. I guess it still is.

Thanks

I have been sent E-mail to Advice (The company, whom sold the ups to me).
The told me, It take 44W.

Thanks For Help!
I will turn it off all the night.

Adiel.
