Question about phone and sim cards..

If I get a new phone, say just for random I get a Galaxy S3 unlocked dual sim thing that can take ANY carrier, Tracfone, Net10, straighttalk, Verison, ETC.. Can I take the current sim out of my current LG tracfone and put it in the S3 and continue using tracfone service and have the same number etc?
