question about processor generations

    i am in the proces of building my computer the last one i built was a intel based desktop but im going for a amd this time
    i have been out the building game for awhile and have bought them pre assembled for like 4 years
    my question is this my tuf b450m-plus gaming motherboard says ryzen 3000 ready so would the
    AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Processor be compatible out of box

    It should be but who knows. Would need bios version 1201 to fully support the 3900x.

    If it has the sticker on it it should come with a compatible BIOS. You'd probably also want to update it once booted as some of the early Ryzen 3000 builds were finnicky.
