Hello,

My mother board supports ddr400 and my ram is ddr400 but the video card i was going to get says it is gddr3, now are these not capable with each other, or does it not matter. thanx.

You should be fine. Gfx ram and system ram are 2 different things. Sometimes with the right combination however you get a little boost in performance (or so I read in a magazine from about 2 years ago.)

It does not matter. :)

In all likeliness the magazine was speculating ... GDDR2 wasnt even stable two years ago let alone GDDR3

This was with DDR and an Nvidia card. Something from the FX series I think. They both used Crucial memory and they somehow got them to run with each other so that it gave a preformance boost.
