Question about ram

When shopping around for DDR2 I found a few things a bit confusing I was wondering between a DDR2 533 and a DDR2 800 is there a big difference? Will I even notice? From what I've seen the 533/667/800 have the widest selections; the 800 being purchased by more and more poeple lately, so my question is in the future is it more likely that they'll stop producing 533 and 667 and only the produce 800's? (and please no bias opinions from those who own a 533 or 667)

The PC2-4200 533mhz DDR2 listing is just like you would see for PC3200 400mhz DDR memory. PC2700 DDR runs at 333mhz. The 800mhz memory runs faster then the rest at the moment. You don't have to worry about the other DDR2 models being stopped anytime soon. PC133 is still availble at the moment. You might have trouble finding PC100 at this time however. Generally manufacturers keep replacement parts available several years after a product line is introduced.
