question about refurbs

Im getting a refurb (all sales final) and I have one question that im paranoid about and that is do they wipe every thing off the computer and put back on the OS and make me go through setup because that is whats im hoping for because I dont want to get it and have someones password on it and not be able to get into my own computer. Sorry if this a dumb question but mind you that this is my first refurb experience.
 
I never bought a refurb, but it would be like if the os was just installed. So all password and configs of the previous owner would be wiped out.
 
Yeah, they should make it like new when they sell it. Pretty much the only negative things with refurbs are the lack of warranty. With the exception of a few items, most refurbs are about as reliable as the brand new versions.
