Question About Steam.

I have installed my friends copy of counter strike source on a computer networked with mine so we could both play over the internet. I have now found out that when the serial code is entered onto a computer, the game cannot be installed on another computer even if it is uninstalled on mine.

Is there any way I can get around this because it is his game. I have the account information (user name, password etc.). Can I use this information to play the game on another computer?

Can I contact steam and have them remove the account from my computer?

No, cause that's piracy.

They'll just tell you to buy your buddy a new copy.

well it wouldnt be piracy. I would use the same serial number so they could block two existences of the same serial.

There is no way I can remove the game so it can be used on another computer?
