Question about steam?

I have a humidifier running in my room at the moment. It creates steam in order to moisten the air, due to the fact I have some quite serious nasal congestion. It is running near my pc, but not facing it. Will the extra heat or moisture it produces effect my pc in anyway?

As long as the steam doesn't hit your PC you should be fine. Just make sure that it doesn't and you don't have any fans that suck air in that could effect this, watch out for condensation as well. That will be a problem if it gets inside your PC.

As for the heat I have a ducted heating vent facing my PC. Now my PC isn't right in front of it (you could probably fit another one between it and the vent excluding cables) and I don't have any problems.

Remember be careful of the steam.
