Ok I'm looking to buy a new laptop and was wondering if anyone can comment on this setup. I'm going to use it mostly for playing games, and have a limited budget of around 900$ tops. The current one I'm looking at would cost about 820$.

It's an HP notebook

Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)

Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Processor T5450 (1.67 GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 667MHz FSB)

15.4" WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1280 x 800)

2GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm

256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS - For Core 2 Duo Processors

Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection

120GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive

SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support

High Capacity 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery

Any coments or recomendations, or does this seem fine?
Thanks.

This one looks fine. 2gbs ram is good. the smaller video card is fine. You will be good with this i think

yea its good for gaming,
if you want faster online speed
then go for
Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Processor T5450 (2.00 GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 667MHz FSB)

I have basically the same laptop but with the T5300 1.73GHz and Intel 950 onbaord graphics. It's a pretty fast laptop over-all. Benchmarks are right around if not faster than my desktop(Athlon 4200).

I'm quite sure the 8400 isn't much of a gaming card at all, but it should do alright for low-end games.
