question about the sales corner

i've looked around in the forum rules and couldn't find an answer but i'm wondering if its cool to advertise (or post a link to) an ongoing ebay auction in the sales corner.

for instance, if i'm selling a graphics card on ebay and would also like to sell it here, could i simply post a link to my auction in the sales corner? or would this be braking rules?

Im sure myself. It used to be, you could only sell something if it was put up on ebay. Put it in there anyway. The worst that will happen is the thread will be deleted.
 
Ah thanks... was looking every where for it. Think Ian needs to make it a link under the "Quick Links" menu
 
but don't you need at least 100 posts to start a thread in that section? if so, you better start posting y2keable
 
I dont think its against the rules to post a link if you are looking to buy something off and want advise but you have to put your ebay auction in the sales section on the forum but you need 100 posts!
 
really a stupid question! just read carefully the forum rules! no Advertisements and posting of that link! anyways if you do so youre message will be deleted.

OK that was rude....it never hurts to ask how to do something because most of us are willing to help
