question about video card fan...

i have a 5-7 year old compaq in my room, it has a radeon 8500 128mb (agp) and the fan on the card is slowly going out on me, should i be worried if it completely dies? or would it be senseless for this card to wear a fan?

i use it for music/internet so i wouldn't want my video card to burn up on me

Not really needed, just put a case fan if your really concerned. But doesnt really need to be cooled by a dedicated fan.

yeah thats what i was thinking, i just wanted a 2nd opinion lol...i think they put fans on those cards for "looks"
