Question after Windows 7 Install

When I installed windows 7 it created a old windows folder. this folder takes up about 70 gig and over half of my hard drive. after i got everything out of the folder i want is it safe to go ahead and delete everything else? Sorry if this is a stupid question I just want to be sure.

Yup. Once you grab the data you want, feel free to delete the entire windows.old folder.
