Question on ATI vodecards

I know this is going to sound stupid, but will ATI video cards work on Core 2 Duo motherboards?

A single ATI and Nvidia either will work. Use just have to have a SLI or Crossfire board to use 2 or more.

Thats kinda off the wall. ATI makes/made PCI-AGP and PCIe X16 1.0 and 2.0 cards. So no it doesnt (have) to have a PCIe X16 2.0 slot to run a ATI card.

That's why he separated the two, Pci x16/2.0. Plus PCI is bust (throwing away the argument of unlikely intentions), and AGP isn't really ubiquitous with C2d boards. But hey, no statement is above nitpicking.

I guess not, but I didnt know a PCIe X16 2.0 slot was mandatory for ATI cards. But you know we can nitpick back and forth all you want here!

I see no problem with nitpicking statements that really have no place in a thread. I get accused of nitpicking myself too, but no one ever forced the people I nitpick to throw out random, useless (detriment to the thread even) posts. Meh.
