 We are experiencing problems with a completely full (d)drive weve tried emptying it onto a cd to open it up. We cant.We want to know should we
replace the hard drive and start fresh? If so we need to have an idea of web sites for discount prices. All of our drives are full. This was previously
owned and that why it is full. We can do much like set up our Brother MFC660MC for printing off our computer.

you can add an additional hard drive to your system and use that for memory so it'll double up. i can walk you through it if you want me to.

First Babyface44, bont keep bump posting, someone will help you out when they can, we dont live here ;)

You say that the hard drive is second hand, and that is why it is full. Well have you tried to delete the stuff that you dont need/uninstalling the programs that you dont need through add/remove programs through control panel.

As for addding a new hard drive, what's your budget, and what are the specs of your machine. And what version of windows are you running

We have tried adding and removing through the control panel however
the drive that is fullest is (D) and when we go there to try we have to put
Windows 95 CD in to get to it.When we try removing stuff a message pops up that it cannot be done because all of what is there is needed for the system. As far as the budget is concerned the only income is my SSDI check
$530 every month.Dont have much to work with. Very new to working a computer so am not real familiar. We have been trying to set up our fax/printer with the disk provided to do so and when the CD is inserted the
computer freezes and iI have to reboot.

320gb hard drives and lower are VERY cheap nowadays on www.newegg.com !
try that, i have a 120 and a 250gb and im trying my hardest to fill them up! lol i just backup dvds to them and such... its nice.
or you could just reformat your current ones, but id get a new one that you know is 7200rpm or faster if i were you :)
