Hi guys thanks for reading
I want to know how to start chkdsk on boot instead of
Startup
To give clarity I want to know how to chkdsk without using the mouse
Thanks guys my computers been stuck on hardware monitor and I can't go thru

You have 2 options:

1: You can go into SAFE MODE WITH COMMAND prompt then login into your account and then in the Command Prompt write the following command:

CHKDSK C: /p /r

Then press the ENTER button on your keyboard.

Where "C:" is the drive letter of the drive you want to check for errors.

2: You can boot from your Microsoft Windows CD or DVD disk and then go to the Recovery Console and there write the same command:

CHKDSK C: /p /r

Then press the ENTER button on your keyboard.

Where "C:" is the drive letter of the drive you want to check for errors.

Considering that you cannot go through, the second option is probably your best choice at the moment. However if you do not have the Microsoft Windows CD-ROM or DVD-ROM disk, try the first option then.

Cheers!
