Question regarding video card issues..

A few days ago, my computer was randomly restarting when entering windows and trying to play Blizzard's World of Warcraft. I have had this problem before, but it has been ages since Ive seen it. I recently replace my hard drive, so its brand new. I formatted my HD, thinking it could be a possible virus or something. I start fresh, and everything is running good, until I get the restarts again. I think to myself, could this possibly be the video card? So I take out the card, (9800 Pro) and place the moniter cord into the VGA slot and try to get into Windows, and go figure, everything works great for hours apon hours and I have yet to come to a single restart. I popped my 9800 pro back into the AGP slot, and this time, the computer is violently restarting and there is no possible way I can even get into the BIOS, the computer restarts that quickly. A friend offered me an older FX 5200, I took it, however , he said that he was also having problems with the card, because his computer would also restart when doing some applications. So I guess this is my question.. Seeing how everything works awsome in VGA, should I purchase another video card? I want something that will at least run WoW, so I can start playing with my guild again. =p As of now, my computer has been running about 12 hours on VGA and I come back to my computer after an Xbox lan, everything working fine. No 3D applications though. =( Someone said it could be a power issue, but I have a 350 watt PSU and my hardware isnt very power hungry. ( Old XP 2000+, What was a 9800 pro, 1 gig of Kingston PC 2700 DDR 33 1 dvd drive, and a WD 80 gig 7200 rpm Hd. -_- ) I am problably going to purchase a card tommorow, something somewhat cheap but decent. Does anyone see this as a good idea? Any help or suggestions would be fantastic. =)

It may very well be the PSU, the 9800Pro is actually a quite powerhungry card, you didnt mention the specs of your PSU?

Have a look at the sticker on the side of it. Namely the amperage on the +12V rail.
