Does this happen when you try to reload the Windows setup, or can you even get that far?
when i try to lauch the computer then it shows the windows xp start up logo and after that comes up black screen with white ticking arrow on top of the screen. If i launch the computer with xp installion disk, then nothing different happens... i hope you understand...

At the botton of the bios screen there should be ( Press--- key to boot to CD-ROM) If not go into your bios and set the DC-ROM as first in your boot order.
