i know this may be a stupid question but oh well. i am looking at a videocard one has gddr2 memory and is 512mb and the other is gddr3 with 256mb. so my question is which would be my best choice the ddr3 with less memory or the ddr2 with more memory?
 
It depends on what the cards are, the rest of your hardware, what games you wanna play, your budget and what monitor size and resoltuion
 
im prorboly gonna run on 1152x864 resolution on a 19in monitor, i will play NWN2 and Diablo2 on it, im trying to stay close to $100 i have found 2 cards that are around that price 1's the ddr2 and the other is the ddr3, the ddr3 is a 8600gts and the ddr2 is a 8600gt
