Microsoft Outlook is a part of MS Office, and you have to pay for it. XP came with Outlook Express, which is a free, stripped-down version of MS Outlook... I'm not sure about Vista, though. I use Windows Live Mail myself (I think it replaced Outlook Express on Vista?)I thought the outlook email was standard to have on it, it was with my desktop.

Is the Windows Mail better then outlook? Or is it really the same thing? I'm trying to set up a email and don't know what to do now lol
It looks and feels different, but basically it's the same thing and does pretty much everything Outlook Express does, and in addition has a translucent splash screen. Is the Windows Mail better then outlook? Or is it really the same thing?
