i was wondering if all these new other boards are compatible with DDR2 memory anymore? because i'm using a leonite2 mobo on a prebuilt computer and i'm thinking of upgrading a lot of things. I have the HP Pavilion a6120n computer. Am i better off buying a new computer? All I did to upgrade this computer was add 2 sticks of ddr2 ram and a nVidia Geforce 9800 GT.

They do still make DDR2 motherboards, though not as often. Pretty much all new motherboards are DDR3.

really, like we're saying on the original thread, you might as well buy or build a new comp, and keep the 9800gt, it's the only thing really worth keeping, unless, which i think people said no you can't, but you might be able to use the hdd and os to save like 150
