hi is it possible that someone can track your activites if he knows your ip address eventhough you have complete versions of internet security softwares?
 
Activities as far as what?

If this person has somehow accessed your system, installed a keylogger, then yes its possible.
 
my browsing activities. i mean one who i connected in a LAN, for example my sister's computer is infected with keylogger.. but mine is clean, we share the same internet can the hacker track my activities although my pc has internet security softwares?
 
Even though your computer has an antivirus, spyware, firewall program installed, it doesn't mean you are fully protected. Users still get infected all the time using Nortons, Mcafee or any other paid antivirus program.

by what means.. can u give some example so i can prevent it.
 
Just takes some common sense when browsing online. No porn sites, don't open emails from senders you don't know. Url links in emails from people you don't know are bad.
 
if my mate's computer is infected since were on a network can i also be infected although i have paid av's. how. i also do what u say. the thing is somebody intentionaly want to hack me.
 
Yes, its possible. All depends on the type of infection the other computer has. Do you have file sharing setup on both computers? I would disable that if so.

i already turn off my network sharing. what about if hacker use port scanning since she implant spyware on the other computer in the network. can she still view network traffic or can access my pc.
 
Should be good. But like I said, nothing is full proof. As long as you know how to properly configure zonealarm, it should tell you when someone is trying to access your system.
 
actually its not just about a game. i want my privacy back from this idiot hacker.. any advice? sometimes people like them made lose my interest in computering now. i felt my internet is just a waste
