quick question cos im a lazy sod and cant be arsed looking.

whats the best AGP card out at the moment, think its time to change my Radeon 9550.

Also, would it be worth getting the best agp considering the rest of my rig, for instance, would i get the same performance out of a slightly lower card because the rest of the rig will bottleneck the best AGP?

thinkin gainward bliss 7800GS 512mb at the moment, but is that overkill?

Just fancy a change away from my current one, be going pci-e and all that in a few months so no telling me just to upgrade cpu etc

The best card you can get would be either the 7800GS or x850XT. It wouldn't be bottlenecked by the AGP interface either, but you may need a stronger power supply depending ont he amps that has on the +12V rail.

looking towards the x850xt at the moment, big difference in price between that and the 7800GS. Will only be a temp upgrade before a full job so cat really justify going for the extra money....off to ebuyer i go
