Hi I might get an Ipod Nano and I was wondering since my computer only has USB 1.1 would it still transfer the songs? And also is an Ipod compatible with USB 1.1? And one more thing since this might be a stupid question does it come with a rechargeable battery?

Thanks

it will still transfer the songs but a lot slower. And yes it comes with a rechargeable battery

It will also take longer to charge

Here:
this explains it a lil more and if you look at the Notes sectionhttp://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93845

requirements chart http://www.info.apple.com/kbnum/n93845

Both USB 1.1 and 2.0 have 5V.. however, Voltage isnt everything.. you also need a current :) So i guess USB 2.0 ports can deliver a higher current than the 1.1 ports (wouldnt really supprise me if they do, since the devices connected are usually also faster) but if thats true,.. then USB 2 would charge faster indeed,.. or at least, is able to do so

USB is completely legacy when it comes to devices, even thought its a 2.0 device it will just run at 11mbps transfer rate.

Not if its PCI 2.2 ....................I think.......
Are you trying to give bad advice on purpose?

First off, they aren't even talking about PCI, they're talking about USB. Even if you meant to say USB 2.2, there is no USB 2.2 standard.

(key word "think") Why if he put in a USB 2.0 PCI card, how come he will only get USB 1.0 speeds?
