Question

well just in my opinion and i no im going way to deep into this but i think that the government holds back technology until they get something better to "counteract" the technology if something ever goes wrong or something i dunno just a thought no critcism plz :-)

A person with a good memory should have few problems in life. :)

Well...

I do not think there's a card available to the public with that amount of RAM. Why in the heck would anyone need that for personal use? No games, no programs....nothing for a norml user...would use the specs to the fullest potential at this moment. Therefore as a result, it's a stupid idea that only fools think about ;)

I wonder in 1000 years

Intel 2334248934GHZ
8472394817MB video card
93243827423914620 EB HDD

I doubt we'll be even using these type of machines we call computers in 1000 years. Do you really think Intel will be just going for speed in processors? What about quantum computing? The video card? So what if it has a lot of memory. The information displayed on a 2d screen? or even 3d? or even by some neural projection into our brains. As for the the hard drive, i think your just being stupid there.

what you dont understand is that numbers wont just increase indefinitely, what would be the point of that? with that much information and speed our brains would have a hard time coping sorting it all. efficiency is needed to maximize the power of computing, eg better compression, better programming, do you think microsoft will even be around in 1000 years?

The Biggest video card available to my knowledge is the 3D Labs Wildcat VP990 Pro 512MB Video Card, but it's for cad and is useless for gaming, you would get better gaming performance out of an Nvidia GeForce 4 TI4600. Im not sure if you can use SLI with the 512mb cards but even if you could it would be useless because theres nothing you need 1GB of video memory for at the current time, not even cad or 3D rendering.

Does anyone know if there is 1GB RAM of video out there?
Ya. Right here on my desk (seriously)

Why?! I think if you SLI two big cards then yes, they do exist.
And what SLI capable single card has 512MB?

Yah, I know about putting two 512MB videocard, but what about a standalone 1GB video card?
....

What would be the difference?
That 1GB memory modules will probably be running an XDR interface as compared to a GDDR3 one....

So does it means the more memory I have, the more problems I have?
It depends how much you forget

theres nothing you need 1GB of video memory for at the current time, not even cad or 3D rendering
Dunno about that one.....

Intel 2334248934GHZ
8472394817MB video card
93243827423914620 EB HDD
1. Intel has abandoned the GHz rating
2. Why not use exa or higher?
