building a pc for gaming and to store pics from my wifes SLR camera on. This is what I am looking at. I can't get the video card I want right now so I'm pulling my old one from my current pc (GeForce GT 430) until I can get a new one (I know this vid card sux). How does this build look? And any reason to get the 975 instead of a 960T for processor?

Get the 960T and a Coolermaster 212+. I hit 3.7ghz on my 960t with the 212+.

I'd get an AM3+ board just in case the newer bulldozer chips are actually good.

Between those the 960T. Like said get a 970 chipset board. Change out that Cooler Master power supply for a Antec/Seasonic/XFX/Corsair/PC Power&Cooling/Silverstone.

Will the fan fit into that case?

Yes.

It might not, actually. Its a pretty slim case. It barely fit into my friend's NZXT phantom. I would suggest the Coolermaster TX3 for a smaller, quality heatsink/fan.
