Questions about my new graphics card

I recently bought a new card. I have some questions

1. There is a 'DisplayPort'. What is this port about?
2. There is an hdmi to hdmi cable. Do I have to replace the one I already have(1.4)?
3. Says its pci express 3.0, while my mobo is pci express 2.0. Do I lose something?
4. I tried install latest drivers from Ati's site, but did not work. Then I saw in Newegg that 7750 has problem with drivers, and I should use the ones exist in the cd-rom. Do u have any better idea?
5. I tried to adjust my monitor(Samsung led SA350) the way I used with previous NVidia card, but the "HDMI Black Level" option is not selectable (I want to set is as 'low'). So I go to CCC and set glut to 168. But I m not satisfied. Do u have any suggestions for good display settings?
6. When system starts I get a msg(translation coarsely) "You disabled a screen which support sound play. Do u want to configure the default settings of sound device and interaction?"
What do I have to do with this?
7. Do u know why AIDA64 and GPU-Z doesnot show the temp anymore?

Uninstall your ati driver, download driver sweeper here but don't run it yet.

Boot to safe mode and run driver sweeper. Then reboot in normal mode and download and install latest driver from amd on website.

Display port will be needed if you plan on running 3 monitors.

No need to replace your dvi cable.

AMD software is called overscaling I believe to get rid of the black band around the screen.

Did u install latest drivers for 7700 series and worked?...

That black band is fixed, but I didnt ask about it.

2. No you do not need to replace the HDMI cable, it will work the same

3. You lose nothing. It means that it is PCI 3.0 compatible, however PCI 3.0 cards will work in 2.0 slots and the other way around. The difference between the two is bandwidth, PCI 3.0 has greater bandwidth than PCI 2.0, however your video will not be bottlenecked by PCI 2.0 bandwidths anyway.

4. Do as John says, half of the people on Newegg I suspect were dropped on their heads shortly after birth, they write such garbage

5. Go to CCC > Desktop Management > Desktop Color and play with the sliders until you find something that you like. The brightness, contrast and gamma are there

6. You do not have to do anything. HDMI can carry sound as well as picture, which is why it is used for TV's and stuff as well. Your monitor has a sound output, but unless you are using the sound from the monitor, ignore it

7. Most likely your temperatures are not there because of the driver issue

Speedfan sucks for monitoring temps, use either Coretemp or Realtemp.

Just tried them, they look like garbage.
RealTemp says cannot recognize my cpu.
CoreTemp has only cpu temp.

CoreTemp says "TDP 107 watts".
Is this possible? I thought 960T was TDP 95W.

Sorry, if you are wanting gpu temp then the amd software should tell you the temp. I know mine does and I have the 6870.

My monitor has a sound output?
