Has bulldozer been delayed again? I've heard about it but I wasn't sure if it was true so I just wanted to confirm it.

thanks

well that sucks. for the short time that I've known about this processor they've just been delaying it.

since you answered this question I have another off topic question to ask.

what would you use a PCIe x8 slot for?

thanks

also my last question before I push this button to order my video card, because im a little paranoid, what is the best graphics card I can get for cheap that I would be able to max out games with. I'll most likely be gaming at 1680x1050 res and less.

thanks alot guys I wouldn't of been able to put this build together with out you.

all gpu's barely use x8 from what i've heard, x16 is just to have the upgradeability for faster cards in the future, but for what card to get, i think a 6870 might work for that or a 560, one of those around 175, might be able to go for a 6770 and be close to max, but the 6850 is just so close in price that for like 20 bucks those extra frames seam worth it to me.

Thanks for the link jon, just a question, If you where to build a gaming rig right now, what card would you use?

i would obviously use 2 6990's or 590's, duh, but from a actually realistic stand point, idk, just depends on how much i have, for the under 200 area, well i'd check to see if any of the cards had the deals for a free game, that i liked, then if it is reviewed well and no more than like 40 over the first card of the model worth getting (cheapest 4+ star with 30+ ratings prefered to me), but overall just for the card alone, i'd prob just go for like the gtx 560's around 200, would look for a specific card but on my comp which has slow internet.

little more power i guess, and the ti is like 40 more, idk, i can't check any benches atm thanks to my internet acting up, i love the it's this way not, and earlier i was downloading the windows updates, steaming pandora, steam was open, on this sight, and was downloading 2 steam demos at close to and temporarily over 1mb/s each.

Seems to be sometime in Oct. Who knows.

Zambezi is delayed again? I thought for sure AMD was going to have them out September 20th. Next thing we will hear it will be Halloween. This is making AMD look foolish in my opinion. They should set a realistic date that way you do not upset potential customers when the deadline passes again.

well it's looking like it's ready, but they are rumored to have put the zambezi through an extra arch like from the B0's to the B1's in early summer and spring, that the iterlagos didn't get.

From what I understand, the B2 stepping is fine and in production. The hold up is the Fusion 32nm. processor/APUs and servers are selling really well and taking up alot of the 32nm. manufacturing. Its taking them longer to build up enough stock for a full release.

Good to hear that AMD is having problems keeping up with orders because of demand for their products. I am glad they are doing well financially. (They are doing well financially right?)

Hopefully they will release a small number of the Zambezi B2 processors for advertising no later than the 27th of September.
