My computer has had it's is destroyed and I have a question about trying to fix it. I have dual boot with xp on one harddrive with second as data and then Linux on third with grub as bootmanager. If I was to install xp on to Linux drive so I can copy stuff over from xp that is destroyed would it default to windows boot manager and allow me to boot either xp or would getting rid of grub be trouble. I don't use the Linux anymore so if I can I will do that easy than backing to external then format

if xp is good then boot from xp bootable cd and repair it ( fixboot) or clean install xp it will remove boot manager
