Quick hard drive question!

I have a previous installation of windows om my desktop's HD. I've had to remove this HD and use a usb device to connect it to my laptop to recover some files.

However....I cant access anything from what woul have been my windows login, as i get an "access is denied" error.

Is there any way to bypass this?

what are you trying to access and where on the hdd is it located? let me know this and maybe i can help you with it..

Trying to access g:\docs and settings\louise (ie, my windows login)

And as soon as i click on my named folder, i get the access error
