Quick laptop Memory question

Ok i have a toshiba A205 4707 it has a 1028mb or memory stock i want to get another stick to put in the second slot. i found alot of 1028 memory on tiger direct an found that kind i need ddr2 but i wants wonder beside every memory he say like667Hz or 533 hz dose it make a difference when im buyin memory or is it ok just as long as i have to match memory sizes?
 
I thought that each brand of laptop had different RAM? So "laptop memory" doesn't exist? Or am I wrong? Doesn't the DIMM or something else matter?

Well you're going to want a DDR2 SODIMM but otherwise you should be fine with pretty much anything.

no, laptop memory is not like the other components of a laptop. The memory and hard drive are the only components that can be easily changed (the screen and others can be too, but are more fiddly) and have an "industry standard"
