Quick Memory Question

I have a HP Desktop that has two slots for RAM/Memory.
It has one 512mb card in it now. I want to upgrade the RAM
and I have two extra 256mb cards.

My question is, do they make RAM card joiners? Something that
I can plug two 256 RAM cards into and then snap into the single
remaining RAM slot. Then my memory would be 1028 instead of
768mb.

Another way to word it is, "Can I use three RAM cards in two RAM slots?"

from what ive seen. No. Just get a 1gb stick of ram so you have have 1028 mb.

Someone should invent a joiner thingy and make some money.
