Quick! Need serial help!

I recently installed a serial card into a clients computer giving it a com3 and com4. It already had com1 as the motherboard-serial and com2 as something I dont know.

The customer has two devices and software that goes with said devices. The software can only "see" com port1 and 2 (Dont ask me, I didnt make the software). Is it possible to change com2 from the "something" to one of the serial card ports?

The computer uses windows xp.

Help?!

Ok, thanks anyway guys. I screwed around in the guys bios and disabled port 2. Dont know what it did, but it works now. So Im not going to change it! .
