hi, i have a amd althon643000 and 512mb ram(on a budget). i was messing aroudn with the fsb options in the bios and when windows load up, i would go to my computer and properties and under there, it gives my processors info and then under there is says 1.08ghz  did i do something wrong?

computer info:
athlon 64 3000+
512 mb ram
windows xp pro
asus k8v se-deluxe

i was also wondering if i could get some info on what i could do with my bios

some options i have in bios is
cpu fsb frequency
cpu voltage setting(auto or +.2v)
ddr voltage
agp voltage
v-link voltage
performance mode

LOL, never; mostly because voltages and temps dont bother me so much as long as the damn thing works heehee :P

i have found that mine likes to run higher 235+ when its cold but at my current room temp 15*C (60*F) its not so cold lol

currently at 2200 (220X10) its @24*C Mobo, 40*C CPU loaded

best was 2353 (235X10 1.675Vcore) Idle: 7*C and 9*C mobo/CPU Loaded: 8*C/23*C Mobo/CPU (upped from 2.2 with Clockgen) room temp of ~3*C

Loading is done with Prime95

HSF is still stock,

i havent taken the time to up the FSB 1MHz at a time to find my absolute max been jumping by 5's, and memory is still all stock, i tried 2.4 but it locked up im thinking its since its trying to run the agp/pci at 80/40Mhz since i dont have a AGP/PCI Lock Should of went with the Nforce chipset instead of the Via o well

anyways

our mud room is not heated lol thats where i was, so i could take advantage of the nice low temps, as for my bedrom its an old house with very little insulation so all i have to do is cover the heat register and close my door and the temp wil stay just about 15*C till the outside temps drop way down then it will get colder lol

Yes Canadian here
