That link says that the Corsair CMPSU-750TX 750-Watt TX Series 80 Plus Certified Power Supply is compatible with intel core i5 and i7 in the title but not AMD. I am building a computer with a 1090t x6 amd processor and was wondering if this psu would be compatible with it as well. I have found what I believe to be the same psu on newegg.com. It says it is crossfire ready on this one:

I would prefer to buy if from amazon, so I can ship my items in a single bundle with no shipping fees.

Thanks in advance for a quick clarification!

Yes, it will work for an amd build as well. They are saying that is just designed for I5, I7 build.

I have the TX750, both PSU's are great. The XFX is an updated platform and is well worth the extra $20 even just for the modularised cables.

Thanks for the help! I will have to weigh my options then.

For the sake of my budget, (I am at the limit) I am either buying the samsung spinpoint f3 1tb 7200rpm hdd and the xfx 750w or the caviar black 1tb 64mb cache 7200rpm hdd and the tx750.
