Quick question for you guys?

If I am getting a new computer and have all the parts but have my operating system and other data on a different hardrive can I just stick that in the other computer and all will work well. They are the exact identical systems so no need to worry for drivers ect.

they would have to be identical. Same MB,CPU,GPU you get the idea.

If the system is identical, it SHOULD work. What OS are we talking about here?
