Quick Question...Help!

Im about to order the rest of my parts from newegg.com. I have 2 questions actually. Are warranties worth it over newegg? I have a 3 yr warranty on the EVGA GTX 295 red edition, ASUS Extreme II mobo (2 yr), and i7 920 (2 yr). Are the warranties non-hassel and worth the extra $200 for these 3 components?

And does overclocking void your warranty? Even an extended one like the ones newegg offers?

Those warranties arent really worth it imo, if anything is wrong with the cards then it would more than likely show up immediently, and the asus motherboard already has a good warranty. The evga graphics card is covered by a lifetime warranty through evga as long as you register the card with evga. EVGA doesnt void your warranty if you overclock, and i dont think asus does either. The core i7 has i believe a 3 year warranty through intel, which is techincally void if you overclock.

Thanks for the quick reply man. You just saved me about $200 haha

Just dont forget to register your mobo/video card to get the full warranties;)

Im not usually into all that or bother. But I will this time!

Everyone, be looking out in Desktop Computers for the build. There will be PLENTY of pics of install and extras.
