N newjacksm New Member Jan 15, 2009 #1 I got Corsair DDR 4gig 2x2GB XMS Ram I put it on the motherboard its reading 4096Memory but in the operating system it read 3.25GB I am running windows XP home. I thought Windows XP Home 32bit Max Memory capability was 4GB?

StrangleHold Moderator Staff member Jan 15, 2009 #3 If you install 4gb. or more on XP 32bit. It will eat up some memory for hardware addresses. 3.25gb. available sounds about right.
