I have a 100gig HD but on my computer it says max is 44.8gb for the c drive
and 3.48gb on the recovery D

and how can i tell if my rams slowing down,burning out or just messing up overall?
Ideas?

Ok, kind of confusing.

I think your asking why 40gigs are missing?

And you want to know if your ram is slowing you down?

is it because i have a deleted logical drive?
could be, did you do that?
if so what should i do? im missing like 40gigs or so
do you have the cds that came with you emachine?

Could possibly get it back with a program like gpart, but you could lose your windows install and, have to reinstall.
you could also delete the recovery partition, if you are not carefull

Need more info. to give you a answer for the first question. What Brand and Model harddrive is it? Havent seen to many 100gb harddrives. Most jumped from 80gb to 120gb. Sure you just havent used up the space and all you have left 44.8gb.

What going on with your computer to think something is wrong with your memory.
 
the rest of your drive might be under a partition, check in BIOS first and see if thats the case
 
Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management.

From there you will see all the partitions on your hard drive, and if there is a deleted partition it should say "unallocated space", simply right click on it and you should be able to either format it or create a new partition.
