Do DVD burners gerally some with a SATA cable from newegg? Thinking about getting this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151173 The MB I am getting is this and can't tell what kind of cable is in the picture http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131362

The drive is OEM, most likely you will not get a cable. If you need a cable, get a product labeled "retail".

That motherboard comes with 1 IDE and 1 SATA cable. You can get a SATA Cable off Newegg for $1.99.

I order my drives from the egg without buying cables, as my local PC store sells SATA cables for 89 cents.

Your motherboard will come will cables. From the image it showing, it come with 2 SATA and one IDE.

OEM version of DVD burner will not come with cable. Retail version do.
