where is the best place to buy memory and video card?

Yes, RAM will make your computer "faster" I would go to at least 512, especially if you have windows XP.

Upgrade your graphics card also if you are wanting to play games... Does your board have a AGP slot? or possible PCI-E?

one thing its an older celeron processor. and there is no agp/pci-e slot either. so you would have to get a pci video card.

only if u have a pci-e slot, you would have to get a pci video card, and i believe they onyl go up to an ATI 9250 (correct me if im wrong). Not good for gaming, but ok for older games and your basic dvd watching and image editing.

adding more ram will help you out a lot. my brother has 2 gigs of ram which is more than enough and it goes extremely fast for him. i have only 512 which isnt too quick. a gig would and should be fine and the best place to get computer parts would definately be newegg.

heres a quick q, should i get another 512 ddr2 stick (£70) (and make my ram a gig) or wait til i get more money and buy an ace watercooling kit (£300)?

You'll gain more performance out of another stick of RAM than what you would from the overclocking capabilities you can gain from a watercooling kit.
