quick skyrim question

im about to go to gamestop and preorder skyrim but does anyone know for sure if i will be able to activate it on steam as if i purchased it from steam?

Im getting ready to run up to gamestop and preorder it in an hour if yes cause the guy said they only have 1 pc copy left.

So anyone know for sure?

it doesnt matter even if it doesnt activate via steam cause you can just add any game to steam for the overlay
 
its about dlc and stuff. No i want a hard copy though, just want to know if hard copies can be activated on steam.
 
yeah i just looked into it more, im pretty sure even the hard copies require steam activation. Hardcopy comes with a map anyway and its quite nice to have a physical copy of a decent game
