how come some of the pentium d's are more than c2d

cuz the c2d is now the mainstream intel proccesor. making a pentium d would proberably take more money to make cuz its not mass produced as much the other c2d.

Well then wouldnt u believe theyd quit making them, cuz if u are gunna spend 300 on a pentium d u could get a c2d but i noticed that the L2 cache is larger on some of the 900 series pentium d

For the same reason 7800GT's are more expensive than 7900GT's. I have no idea.

Left over processors that stores don't want to lose money on by selling them for a lower price. (which, ironically, will not make them sell any faster, probably not sell at all)
