I have one that is brand new in the box. How good is this processor? I currently have a q6600 oced to 3.6...

Yes, but it won't beat the [email protected] by a significant margin - you'll have to take it to 4GHz at least before you actually notice the performance increase in most applications.

yea if you pair it with the right motherboard, also you'll need some real fast memory to keep up with it. like 1066mhz or faster preferably.
