I was recently using a Voodoo 3 pci card, I upgraded my mobo processor and HD a few days ago and had to use the PCI card for a few days, I went and bought an ATI Radeon X850XT 256Mb AGP card and when I try to set the card to AGP 4X or 8X if always gets reset to agp as being off. Also when I goto play one of my games I get a message saying AGP is Deactivated and the graphics are horrable, any ideas?

Umm i have no help with your problem sorry :(

but if you had a voodoo 3 pci card, why would you upgrade to a 850? i mean do you need all that power if you were find with your 3, ?

I had the old voodoo3 on my older pc that I just upgraded and that was the only video card I had to use. It was a peice of crap.

well, id say good choice with the x850xt. good card. i wouldve gone and upgraded to pci-e though.
AGP set as off, could be a bios setting it sounds like.

Agreed... It is most likely that AGP is disabled in bios. You usually can reach it by hitting the "delete" key at post (system start). Make sure AGP is enabled and that it is set too 8X in bios then go back and set it to AGP 8x in your drivers control panel.
