Radeon x1300 Pro

The PCI-Express card i snot too bad it is mid to low range and it will be better than on board graphics but don't expect to max out any settings.

Looks at it this way, it will provide some eye candy but it is not a 'performance' video card it is a budget video card.

i play my games on max settings with it and it runs fine

halo
gta san andreas
oblivion (on high not max)
bf2
doom 3

The x1300PRO is not a good gaming card. It will work with the new games, but it will not play them on high settings. I dont know what cutless is saying, but he probably has a low resolution or AA not enabled.

"is not"

lol

Yea I had an x1300 before my x1900xtx and it pretty much blew ass, better than the x300 I had before that though....

i play them on 1280 x 1024. san andreas is the only game i have AA enabled. i probably dont get a good framerate but its playable and i dont notice jumps

I seriously doubt that a X1300 can play elder scroll on low let alone on high. I have a high end 7900GT and even that lags on high. The X1300 is a budget card, and its not designed for gaming.

That would explain it. Having AA on drastically lowers framerates, and it also sounds like you're running in the 20-30fps range.

I was able to play oblivion on my old x1300 but with most settings on low to mid low... Regardless it was not great and lagged occasionally.

I have it on medium. no OC, in BF2142 and BF2. No big-timer card but, it gets the job done, I am not worried about it. As I am heading for 8800GTS
