Radeon X1300PRO SUPER, Any good?

It's a basic graphics card. Don't expect to play many games on it, but if you just need one, I guess it'll do. Oh yeah, the 512mb onboard memory doesn't do much as the card itself can't nearly use that much memory.

I thought that 512mb didn't seem quite right, never the less whats the best agp card out for under £100? Bearing in mind i have a Radeon 9550 128mb card at the moment.

The ATI Radeon 9550 model card was 256mb. There seems to be some discrepancies between actual numbers. The X850 AGP model card is a great one for gaming. The manufacturer's specifications didn't list how many pixel pipelines the AGP version of the X1300 Pro had. The MSI Radeon X1300 Pro here has 4. But the AGP version is one that should run any of these games according to what has been heard. But they have 256mb of onboard memory on every brand seen.

Well howcome mine is only 128mb then?

The one I ran that is now in hibernation was an ATI Brand as well as chipped model card. That one was under ATI's own brand name there. Apparently that brand used the same model number for a 128mb card with the 9600 chip on it. That's precisely what is on the ATI Radeon 9550 256mb model. This is why looking over the specifications on models seen made by different companies often is the best move. MSI, Asus, BFG, Power Color, and maybe one or two others are the brands to keep in mind when shopping for ATI models.
