Radeon X1600

Personally i dont like it at all. I've used a similar x1600PRO PCI-E and it was a very dissapointing card. If I were you, I would look towards a different card. Perhaps something along the ATI X800/X850 line.
 
pay less for a 256mb one. if you get a card with 512mb it better be damn fast, like a 7900gt or x1800 with all that ram, the x1600 cant even process 512mb worth of graphics memory quickly enough for the extra memory to help.
its like having a sempron 1.4ghz loaded with 4gb of memory. generally you'll never use all the memory before you run out of cpu (or gpu in this case) resources.

lol you get what im saying...
its just when i had a single gb of ram, id run out of memory resources before i would cpu resources which is why i upgraded to two gb's... likewise i feel you can quite easily run out of gpu resources before you run of out video memory resources.
