Radeon X300 256mb PCI-Express will this run the latest games? don't care if its on the lowest settings or not. It'll go along with 2GB of ddrram dual channel, and some amd 939 CPU, prabally one of the cheaper ones.

Basicly is s Radeon X300 256mb card support the latest games? will it run even if on the lowest game settings.
 
The x300 is one of the slowest cards made by ATI. I reccomend a x700 or up. I dont know the nvidia equivilent of that. With the x300 i had to run doom3 on 640 x 480 high specs w/o shadows.
However, if u want the x300 i have one that i could sell to u. Its pci-e, 256mb, DVI and VGA hookup. (dual monitors) and 256 mb video memory. Plus it doesnt have a fan, it just has a heatsink so its silent

......Weather it was slow or fast or what's better was not the question. The question was will it run everything?


And whats the price on your card and how much shipped to 92653, btw i can get that card warrenteyed and (uesed) reberbuished for 40$ on newegg.
 
i had an x300 128mb HYPERmemory, and it ran bf2 on low settings, with 1 or 2 on medium. that's the only game i attempted to play though, but it ran it perfectly fine at about 45fps

@matt12685848 which x300 version do you have? whats the exact version it is? brand and all of that? and how much RAM? also is it PCI-e or apg?


Also modoman which did you use with bf2?

i used the 128mb hypermemory (only has 32mb onboard, rest is borrowed from system) pci-e card. bf2 even loaded quicker, actually, than with the 7800gt. i think it's due to the reduced texture size.. so i was normally the 1st or 2nd one in the game :)

um it wont play fear or cod2 even at low settings. Or i doubt it would be able to.
 
I can play COD2 on low settings with a MX440 you have to be kidding me i could easily play COD2 on low settings with that card.

People hype video cards to much and dont hype ram as much. I have 2gb of ddr ram, which helps alot in games, I used to log on Wolrd Of Warcraft(my internet was fine, never went over 100ms, ussaly stayed around 17 in a deadzone) and everyone said upgrade your video card, instead i got alot more ram and i was fine.

It stil lags everyonce and a while in the huge scitys with alot of people and everything, but thats still barly and ussaly when i just enter or log in.

Same "area" in general but differnt locations, each one is just more spefic, they are all different citys, I'm in Laguna Hills. and there in another person in the seeling section selling a 300x for the same price but its the 256mb version, so i will prabally get his since its the same price.

that is for sure.......i have done it b4. its not a bad card, considering the super low price, and the fact that it is pcie.
