thats the case that i currently use, its to big...(card) the ventilation would be blocked by the ps/2 and mouse plugs....but iam getting a new computer in a month so.....heres the case id like

uh... also could i see a really good motherboard...under $200 i can post or you can check the specs i have for the card to help me get the right thing
 
make sure you get an AGP motherboard if the card is AGP, or a pci-express motherboard if its pci-express. they make the x850xt in both versions... if im correct that slot looks like pci-express i could be wrong though.

also i wouldnt get that case...

get something more durable, preferably steel.
i bought an aluminum case and it got all banged up and broken during shipment.

personally, i prefer RAIDMAX. antec and thermtaltake are also very good cases, along with Lian-Li (though they make few with a side window) and cooler master.. and silverstone too... lol

hmph.... uhh.... the card says PCI express requires one x16 lane pci express slot

so i need a mobo to fit that???

and case iam looking for semi-full tower with a good number of 5.25 bays
 
they're called ATX mid-tower...
and those cases i suggested all fit standards.

also what cpu do you have an what socket is it for? this will also help determine what motherboard you should get... and do you want to overclock at all?
 
currently pentium 4 550...but iam going to attempt to get the e6600 i wanted to oc but it sounds dangerous and i tend to mess stuff up....so...
iam lookign at mid towers with good bays and sutff
 
Why don't you post EVERYTHING you are posting in separate topics about questions for your new computer, in your new build thread? You are posting like 7 topics a day, that can all be in 1.
 
so i know its not the 'best' graphics card *x850xt pe*
but will it fit in the gigabyte mobo and TT jr case?
and will it lag and overheat?
 
I don't see why it wouldn't work. As for lagging, what games are you talking about? You should be able to play most games at high/max, but for the newest games, you'll have to scale the settings back a little.
