Radiator with 1" tube inlet/outlet?

Hello. I'm looking for a radiator (if possible, for 120mm fans) that has a 1" tube inlet and outlet.

A member named Just A Noob says I should get a heater core, but I can't find tubbing sizes for heater cores online. Well, if anyone knows for a fact that heater cores have a 1" tube inlet and outlet, let me know. Also, a kind of a dumb question, but I need fans for the heater core? Probably something bigger than 120mm?

If there are any ordinary radiators (like for comps) that supports 1" tubes, post the name please. Thanks a lot.

Btw, in case someones looking for a great pump (at least I think so) that has a 1" inlet and outlet, theres one called a Rainbow Quiet One Aquarium Pump 3000. It's only $53, compared to the other aquarium pumps that cost above $100.
 
You don't necessarily need to match the inlet/outlet size on the radiator and the tubing. What you can do is run down to a local autoparts store and tell them that you need a rubber fitting that matches the two sizes. Cars use vacuum lines and often times what happens is the hose doesn't match the fitting size, which is why these rubber fittings are so common. Just make sure to get the correct rubber fittings before you buy the radiator :P

So... I can get any size and use fittings? What if the tubbing is 1/2" or 3/4" and I use a 1" fitting? Wouldn't the 1/2" or 3/4" inlet be kind of a bottle neck? Or if it's like 2"? I'm guessing it won't cause problems? I hope not, because it's really hard finding the right one. Well, if neither of those will be a problem, I'll definantely go for a plain computer radiator. So much simpler to use than a heater core. It sounds huge, and I have no idea how I'd fit it into the case, lol.
 
Haha, nice. You can't get every sized adapters, but there is a good range of adapters you could get. I would just check out what size adapters are available either online or a local auto stores first, and then go from there as far as tubing and radiator setup.

I went heater core shopping today in the junkyard. I couldn't find ANY heater core that's small, and ones that I thought were heater cores were "condensers". So I have to ask this questions: Is this a heater core?

I don't want to accidently buy a condensor in place of a heater core. Thanks.

And a final question: What size fan would a 7"x6" heater core use? o_o
 
how many fans do you want/need on a radiator(please list parts you want to cool) because heatcores aren't ideal, they're just cheaper, and i wouldn't recommend going with 1" tubing either, the largest fittings you'll be able to find will be 1/2" outer diameter, anyway, heres a list of radiators/pumps i recommend: hw labs 120.3 swiftech 120.2 laing ddc-3.2 laing d5 vario the pumps aren't cheap, but they are made for watercooling a pc
